Made from 100% virgin wood pulp with a microcapsule coating, it transfers handwriting or dot-matrix impressions to the sheets beneath without separate carbon paper. Q: Are the paper color and the copy image color the same?
A: No. White, pink, yellow, blue and green refer to the sheet background colors. The copy image color is determined by the carbonless coating, not the sheet color. Please specify your required image color when ordering so we can confirm a suitable option.

Q: What is the difference between ply count and sheet divisions?
A: Ply count is the number of sheets in one multipart set. Sheet divisions indicate how a sheet is divided into equal sections. For example, a 3-ply form provides three corresponding records, while a sheet divided into 3 equal sections provides three shorter form sections. These are separate specifications.

Q: Can different plies in the same set have different printed content?
A: Yes. Each ply can carry its own copy designation, such as Customer Copy, Warehouse Copy or Accounting Copy, along with different instructions or form content. Fields that need to transfer between plies should remain aligned so copied information appears in the correct position.

Q: Can carbonless copy paper replace thermal receipt paper directly?
A: No. Carbonless paper copies information through pressure, while thermal receipt paper forms an image when heated by a thermal printhead. They are not interchangeable. Select the paper according to your equipment’s printing method.

Q: How can I prevent unused carbonless paper from developing unwanted marks?
A: Keep unused paper in its protective packaging and avoid concentrated pressure, rubbing or impacts during handling and storage. Do not write on top of unused sets. When filling out a form, place a firm writing shield beneath the active set to prevent pressure from marking the sets below.
